Can I know if a mp3 has been "transcode" (I mean re-encode)?
For example, I download a mp3 at 256 kbps, but it seems to play like a 128 kbps mp3...
Does exist a manner (software or other) to discover these fakes?

I'm interested in how to tell transcoded MP3s as well, but the search option you gave, for the first 2 results, it hasn't been solved yet. It seems that you need to read the source in the Lame tag, but there isn't a way to read it.
BTW, In Encspot, what does the "original" checkbox mean? Does it mean if it's ticked, it is not transcoded?
"Original" is just a flag in the data that the encoder can either set or not set. As far as I know it is not used consistently by encoders and is therefore useless.
