i recently bought me a new DVD-RW drive froem pioner.

but i cannot use it for C1/C2 checking of my burned CD/DVD medias and also i cannot use it with alcohol 120% to make backups of my games ("device cannot correctly read DPM data" or something like that)
so now om looking for a new dvd-burner

- must be sata
- must handle C1/C2 scanning of cd's and dvd's
- High DAE quality
- Able to be used for making images of Copy protected games"
- Silent

That "Plextor" is not a Plextor, it's a re-badged Pioneer DVR-212.

Thanc for the info. it seemsd it often the rule thath pioner drives does not support c2 error reporting.

so 'il stay away from that one.
