I have been away from EAC for about 6 years. I am wanting to get going again. It seems UberNet.org is gone and his guide seems pretty outdated anyway. The thing is, every EAC configuring guide seems to be from 3-5 years ago. I am still very much a newb to all of this. I hope someone out there can point me to something from at least the last couple of years with the newer versions of EAC, or tell me whose guide to use.

Thanks,C

By the way, I have been searching and googling for almost two days.....

IIRC, UberNet.org suggested the same setting for all drives which was not good.

Check the wiki here at HA. I think some of the articles should be removed and the section given a little restructuring, but any of the currently maintained articles are for the most part accurate:

What version of EAC do you recommend?

Do you care about retrieving the native TOC?

If so go with V0.95b3 or earlier; if not go with the most recent version.

There is no essentially no difference in the ripping engine except for some minor bug fixes. Andre should be releasing V0.99pb5 soon with a few more bug fixes.
