Full Version: Cuesheet_track offsets incorrect for 48khz files.

Using flac 1.2.1, it seems as though cuesheets imported to flacs encoded from 48khz wave sources, either via flac's --cuesheet= or metaflac's import-cuesheet-from=, end up with incorrect track offset values in the cuesheet block. The offset values present are those for a 44.1khz file, not a 48khz one. Is this a bug, or is there some reason that flac and metaflac assume that any flac receiving an imported cuesheet MUST be 44.1khz?

When dealing with non-CDDA content, time values must be expressed in number of samples.

Are you saying that the .cue cuesheet itself has to be manually rewritten and the INDEX time values expressed in samples, rather than in mm:ss:ff before flac imports it?

skamp
Yes.

Is this documented somewhere? I don't see any mention of this at http://flac.sourceforge.net/documentation_...ncoding_options.

Heh. So you asked about this a year ago. And here I thought I was being so clever, spotting this.

Anyway, I just filed an enhancement request:
