I used to extract foobar2000 manually with 7-Zip (right click -> 7-Zip -> Open archive). But since version 0.9.5.2 the file and folder names look somehow broken. Is there a way to fix this?
This is how it used to look:

$COMMONFILES
$PLUGINSDIR

And this is how it looks now:

It shouldn't be too hard to find it..

Why the coughing? Is is that obvious?
There's no mentioning of an unstable release on the main site nor in the SF download section where normally also unstable releases are filed. And then there's always the chance that those alpha releases from the forum don't even address a specific issue or might introduce new ones.
Anyway, thanks.

Coughs because that is the solution?
I don't think you looked very hard, it's just one link away from the main site:
http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=45797I have no idea what you are complaining about, the issue is fixed in the latest 7-Zip alpha (yes I checked) if that doesn't suit you wait until it's out of alpha ?? (Should I add some coughs here? Or just not try to help next time?)

You don't need to post the link as I already implicitly mentioned that I found it ("alpha releases from the forum"). I don't have a problem with the fact that you tried to help (which is very appreciated) but with the way you did it. Just don't cough next time, okay? I deem that offensive.

Well, if you're familiar with those forums you don't think it would have been more appropriate to post there? Do you think anyone finds it offensive you consider this forum 7-Zip support?
I would say you are easily offended. The tone of my post ("shouldn't be too hard to find" is obviously not true) wouldn't have suggested to me I was trying to imply it was obvious. But I will use whistle smilies instead next time...

Initially I didn't think that this problem was related to 7-Zip. foobar2000 0.9.5.1 could be extracted properly while 0.9.5.2 couldn't. What changed? foobar2000, not 7-Zip. It could have been simply related to a newer version of the installer (which now seems likely) but the problem also could have been related to some kind of scrambling or obfuscation option that might have been (accidentally or intentionally) activated.

*cough* I'm really offended by the hackers like you, trying to crack the foobar2000 installer protection and being unable to do so, posting in the official "Support - (fb2k)" forum. Please behave yourself. *cough*
