Full Version: Adaptive EQ in Audition?

I'm looking for a way to change the eq and probably levels in a bunch of tracks that are from different sources so they sound the same (or similar at least). I figure the only way to do this is to have some sort of adaptive eq filter that you can set to a preset, but it will look at the file and see how much it has to change in order to reach that goal, not just change each file the same amount. Does something like this exist?

Thanks

Steinberg FreeFilter promises to do that. It's a DirectX/ActiveMovie plugin. Some years ago I tried to make radio recordings CD quality using this filter. That failed but that does not necessarily mean that tool is bad. If legally obtained, it used to cost around $600.
