I just installed a new Stereo-link model 1200 and I immediately noticed that my ears hurt! What's the problem? I had previously been listening to FLAC & MP3 through my on-board audio card (I have a Dell 745 PC) piped out to my NAD 2240PE amp to Mission speakers w/ win amp as the software front end. The sound wasn't fantastic but it was pretty good. Now, when I listen through the Stereo-Link DAC I have extraordinary and immediate ear fatigue. Any ideas about this?
