hello,
i'm using eac and wavpack (single track ripping method). when i rip a cd with various artists, the %a% field is the TRACKartist and %t% is the tracktitle. as far as i know it is not possible with eac to give %d% (albumartist) to the encoder.
this is really a problem becase when you are using for example albumlist in foobar you have your tracks ripped from a various artists cd all over the albumlist because it sorts it by artist as there is no albumartist tag. i would like to have it under albumlist => various artists => albumname => year => artist - tracknumer - tracktitle

i never cared about this, because you can simply tag the album_artist field with foobar but i made this setup for my dad and selecting und rightclicking is really a thing he cannot do at this time biggrin.gif

is there a solution/workaround for this?

thanks

There should not be a second percent sign after the variable.

I'm confused...where would you enter the artist info for this tag in EAC? I too use foobar to enter an albumartist tag on the albums.
