Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any problems using the new 5.10.00.5063v2 drivers. After updating, it seems like I can no longer change the master volume using my keyboard (Logitech Media).

When attempting to change the volume on the keyboard, it now only moves the slider of the volume control (under "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties"). Before updating, the volume control on the keyboard was able to change the master volume of the M-Audio (which was directly connected to the volume in the "Sounds and Audio Devices Properties").

I have tried playing around the settings (such as "Do not map through this device") but unfortunately, nothing worked.

I've seen another bug. After upgrading the driver for my 7.1, sound doesn't come from the surround speakers anymore but is "redirected" to the front speakers (I use foobar2000 with "Move stereo to rear channels" DSP).

They upgrade so infrequently that they have lost control of their driver. Highly *NOT* recommended.

Solution: I've restored a full system backup and will never upgrade anymore (or buy another M-AUDIO product).

unsure.gif Wasn't it possible to rollback to, or uninstall and then reinstall the device with the original, or previous, drivers?

"restore a full system backup" sounds like a big task but :

I do frequent system backups in less than 20 seconds (Drive Snapshot of a NLited Windows XP) and to restore them takes only a few minutes (the time necessary to reboot on a BartPE USB flash disk, mount a network backup drive and restore the Drive Snapshot image).

Even though it may seems "heavy", it's probably as fast as trying to rollback and we're never sure to really "rollback" when uninstalling.
