Hi everyone,
my collection is backup as lossless EAC CDImage+Cue but with blue-ray my hardisk space is suddenly becoming very low,
I know that nero aac ~128 is transparent to me, so I would like to convert some of my CDImage to AAC but I am used of CDImage+Cue & I don't want to split my CDImage to separate tracks AAC.

I want to archive it as AAC CDImage+Cue, the playback on PC is not a problem thanks to foobar2000 but I am worried that if I would like to play the file on a portable Ipod-like device I will need to split my AAC CDImage+Cue in order to jump to next/previous song.

So my question is:

Is it possible to losslessly split/join with a cue an AAC CDImage (in mp4) as easyly & perfectly as it is possible to split/join a WAV CDImage with foobar2000 ? What software do I need to do it ?

Thks for help wink.gif

You could use FB2K to encode on the fly to your DAP.

Extract adts aac from your mp4 using mp4box

Joining adts aac is very simple -- concatenate each .aac file to a big one and it will play gaplessly. So just do it reversely -- find right positions and split one .aac to small pieces. Are there any tools that can do this job?
