Full Version: PCM files with foobar?

Hi,

how can i play PCM files in foobar? Always when i try to open them i get an error mesagge (unsupported file format)

the pcm files a raw rips from a dvd. (so 48khz)

havent found a plugin via google and in this forum.

for the dts and ac3 files i found plugins and they work.

rerip them as wav files instead of raw pcm.

mhh, ok, ive done that but isnt there a possibilty?

There's no way to tell what data exactly such raw files contain (sample rate? bit depth? channel count? channel order?), if foobar2000 supported playing them, you'd have to somehow manually input that information before playing each file, which is is IMO more hassle than it's worth.
