The reason of this post is to request some websites where I can download eBooks
I remember visiting one whose special emphasis was on Computer related books, which was awesome.
Thank you ahead of time to all of you for your wonderful suggestions!

I'd like to add that there will be no mention of places to find copyrighted material on this forum. If that was what you intended I'd rather close this thread right away.

The issue is not copyright per se, the issue is the *license*, if applicable.

What the OP was presumably looking for was freely-distributable ebooks, whether they be:

- ancient and therefore public domain works
- older copyrighted works where the copyright expired
- recently created works released to the public domain
- recently created copyrighted works released with a license that allows for free distribution (as long as the license rules are followed).

I don't think I've ever come across a free eBook site before (That's not to say I don't think there is one) but if you're looking for computer related books you're generally in luck. When I've looked around, I've come across the original books being posted on the author's website.
