Can anyone recommend a way to convert WMA Lossless audio files on PC to some mac iTunes compatible format on Mac? Tags and full quality of audio must be preserved.
I have tried GoldWave as the converter but it drops some tags e.g. such as WM/PartOfSet a.k.a. Discnumber.
I have tried GoldWave-made AIFF and WAV RIFF as the format but mac iTunes does not see the tags. (Interestingly mac Fission sees the AIFF tags... and AIFF tags do not survive Fission<>iTunes.)
Thanks.

You might try dbPoweramp.
PC version of iTunes?
WMP has it's one tags. If these are not converted you might try MP3Tag. It has some powerfull options (format tag) to convert tags like Discnumber=WMPartOfSet

You can use the PC version of iTunes to convert the WMA Lossless files to Apple lossless, WAV, and AIFF. dBpowerAMP will also work and both methods should preserve the tags.
