Hi guys,

I have a file in m4a format. I am not mac user, have just standard NB, and use F2k for playback and transcodings. F2K does not recognize this format. Which codec shall I use or how to proceed that I will get what I need? Many thanks.

Hi, you should update to the latest version and try again. See also file properties - codec profile. If you cannot add that file to a playlist, then the file is corrupted. Try also the latest Winamp.

If the file in question is Apple lossless you could try "ALAC decoding support" from the "Optional Components" download section. It warns about possible instability but I've used it and never had any problems
