Hello,

I would like to change the directories where REACT puts teh source WAV file after ripping it, and all other temporary files from the default:
C:\Users\Zeus\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Burn

to a specific directory.

I found @source@ in botht eh REACT cfg files, but I'm unsure which to change. I assume, if I can recall my DOS, which I can't really, it would be something like @source@\d:\specific\directory
??

This folder is actually detirmed by EAC.

This post should provide details for you to set te directory that you prefer. If you're confused try reading a little previous to that post, and maybe after.

OK I had EAC set to the specific directory, but I went ahead and reconfigured REACT2. No change. It still wants to use the C:\ default directory to rip.

When I tried to rip it gave me an error saying the default directory plus the directory "burn1" was not available--because I deleted it. So I chose the directory manually, which is the same one in EAC.

After deleting the default directory "burn1" it now has reverted back to the specific directory I wanted. I don't know why it kept going to the default directory until I deleted the directory it wanted to go to (Not the entire directory, just the last subdirectory that REACT or EAC created, which was "burn1").

Thanks.
