I also stay with 0.9.5.2, because I don't want my gf to get bugged by useless error messages. Useless for me at least. As many others I use Panels ui because of track information display.

Or you could do your girlfriend a favor by getting rid of ancient stale components like Panels.

The track display panel works fine. There's no alternative. fb2k is not only complaining about panels ui. Also cwbowrons component and the crossfader. They all work (work means: all functions, which I need, work).
I don't see a reason why I should change all code on a regular basis - better stick with 0.92. Also I doubt such a message box is good design practise. Bug the user maybe once. But not always.

When i tested the last time (few months ago) the so called stable panels ui release the track display offered me a broken context menu where not all commands were available.

I will stay at 0.9.5.2, too.
Everything works there without problems.

While I applaud this warning message, I find it absolutely insane that there is no supported plugin that will simply display a panel that has the name of the track playing.
