Hi smile.gif

I usually download radioshow I listen to and the cuesheet that ables me to split the whole mp3 into different files.

But I usually have some problems with some tracks which have long names. Indeed, after the conversion, some word are missing in the ID3 tag.

For example :

A State Of Trance Ep344

The first track of the show is Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren pres. Vantem - You Never Said (Dash Berlin Remix) (yes, pretty long artist name and title)

And, what I have in the tag of the output file is,

Artist : Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren pres. Va
Title : You Never Said (Dash Berlin Re

You see that the end of the title and of the artist are missing ... How can I fix that ? The cuesheet is alright ...

Sorry if someone have already answer to this question, I didn't found any topic about that.

Also, i'm french, sorry for mistakes in this topic smile.gif

Those values are 30 characters long, which suggests that you are tagging with ID3v1, which has a 30 character limit.

Go to "Preferences" > "Advanced" > "Tagging" > "MP3" > "Preferred tag writing scheme", and see what setting you are using. You probably want "ID3v2 + ID3v1", or maybe just "ID3v2".

Okay,

I just tryed that and the result is that Windows and dbPowerAmp don't find at all the tag of the MP3, whereas "The Godfather" do

Windows (xp) don't read ID3v2 tag ?
