About 75% of the time, when playing a CD with Foobar2000, as a track begins to play within the first 10 seconds of the track, the track will stop playing and then begin again from that same spot about 1 to 2 seconds later. I have spent many hours trying to determine the cause of this problem. I have made several different attempts to alleviate this problem based on different theories as to what may be causing this problem. Has anyone else had this problem? Were you able to fix it? If so, how?
No other player on my system acts this way, only Foobar2000.
I don't know if this will help, but here's some info about my system:

Windows XP, SP2
Sound card is a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum
2.2 GHz processor (AMD)
3 GB RAM

If you are wondering why I don't just give up and use another player, it's because I really like the sound from Foobar2000 because of the way I've adjusted it's graphic equalizer probably foremost among other reasons.
