Hi,
I am using a laptop (LG P-1 DUAL CORE,1 GIGA RAM AND 80 GIGA HARD DRIVE) with firewire output(TI chipset) to an external sound card. All of my music is in flac files, and stored in an external hard drive via usb.

The problem i have is that oftenly foobar gets stuck ,and the only way to solve the problem is to disconnect the firewire cable and hook it up again. What can i do to stop this thing from happening again?

I must mention that my laptop is only for playing music, and it has a minimum of softwares in it.

Thanks for your help

Check to see if the same thing happens with any other player on your system. Try Mediamonkey and Winamp, which both support FLAC natively. If they have the same problem, the issue probably isn't due to fb2k. If they don't then the reverse is true.
