f2k keeps on giving me this error whenever I try and add certain files to the song list or even play certain songs (although it hasn't done that in recent memory).

Any fixes? This problem is getting annoying.

What files are affected by this? Please tell the path of at least one of them. A list of the components you have installed might also be useful (see the "Copy" button on the "Components" preferences page).

It sounds like it may be an old version of foo_uie_albumart, if you are using that.

All of the files I'm trying to add are in the C:\Users\xxxx\Music\Foobar2000 Library\ folder.

Something I've left out: the problem persists for a few days or weeks and then dissipates...so some of the files I've added have had this problem previously, but it just went away.

It's almost certainly because you're using an old version of foo_uie_albumart. You can get version 0.2.7.1 here, which should fix the "Unhandled exception" errors, but does not read art embedded in tags.

I got the same error today after installing the foo_uie_albumart version that supports embedded covers, looks like the same you're using. The problem is that it crashes if it can't find any picture to display. I worked around it by adding a source "--components\default.*" in the plugin settings and placing a 1x1 px transparent image named default.gif in the components folder.

Any way someone could walk a newbie through this work around?

I was just about to post a thread about this problem...thanks for the link to the 0.2.7.1 update, saved me from going into a mad disabling everything frenzie.

Any way to get it to read album art?
