thought this was interesting, seems kind of unique

not only is this album is available on bluray and hybrid sacd, but also as downloads in 5.1 24/96 flac, stereo 24/96 flac, and "hires dsd64 stereo" whatever the hell that is. I wasn't aware there even was a file format for any kind of dsd or a player for it.

Of course there is a format. It's called DSDIFF. How else would they transfer the audio data to the SACD production plant? smile.gif

Some engineers even use that format for recording ! smile.gif
