I am using the MPC encoder frontend by Martin Spueler- the frontend is just named "MPPENC Frontend V 0.09" (and the MPC encoder 1.7.9 or above i think).

But what I was wondering is: How do I turn on clipping prevention? Or do I need it on to preserve quality? There is no tab to turn it on or off. Is there a code that I could enter to turn it on or off? But- what I really am also asking is: Is "clipping prtevention on" or "clipping prevention off" a better mode?

I would use Frank Klemm's replaygain in --auto mode after you have encoded.
