i always updated to the newest version of foobar installing it to the same directory. but at some point foobar forgot to delete the old version entry in the 'add or remove programs' thing. i'm running windows XP SP2.
the entries are: foobar2000 v0.9.5 and foobar2000 v0.9.5.3
i'm sorry but i don't know on which version change this happened, but it has been a while.

can i just uninstall the older version? or will that uninstall the actual foobar i use?

tried this method but there is only one foobar folder in the list. inside there is only one version. the newer one.
i tried using spybots uninstall programs list. but there is only one entry there as well.

is this a foobar installer bug or windows' fault?

i think uninstalling and installing again will solve this. i'll just make a backup of my foobar directory.

is there anything you want to know before i do that. something you need to fix this bug?

Actually I've got same problem, but with foobar 9.5.3 and 9.5.3 beta 2. I've reinstalled foobar once and everything was allright, till next version and new install ^^
