1. Is there a way to make a playlist of a genre/artist etc and have it auto update when you add more songs of that genre/artist?

2. Is there a way to send what your playing to last.fm without istalling their software? eg.. a foobar plugin.

Thanks cool.gif

That code "genre IS metal" you can put in the Database Searchbox, Facets Search box, or Album List Filter Box. When you see results you save it as an autoplaylist.

The searching part works, but how do you save the search? If i go to file->save playlist, it just saves a regular one of the track list.

for albumlist:
right-click "All Music" root node (or any child node if you want it's subset for an Autoplalyist) -> "Create Autoplaylist"

for Library Search:
click the [...] button -> "Create Autoplaylist"

for Facets:
right-click on "All" (or any child item if you want it's subset for an Autoplalyist) -> "Create autoplaylist"
