Full Version: Playlists (Tabs) lost

I recently added a lot of new tabs. When all the tabs don't fit on one row they'll start to pile up so with the new tabs I reached a height of 3 rows of tabs.. Now I had to reboot to install windows updates and only one of those rows is left anymore. I've lost 2/3 of my tabs. They have disappeared somewhere. It's not that foobar didn't close properly and couldn't save the settings correctly because on this row of tabs are some new additions from yesterday.
I suspect the reason is I added too many tabs, but I can't say for sure. In fact I don't have a clue what just happened.
I wouldn't want to do the work again just to see the tabs disappearing again.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem for me? smile.gif

Thanks in advance.

I don't know what caused your problem, but i recommend you to use the playlist manager or playlistdropdown. Playlistmager or dropdown is a nice feature to keep your screen clean from tabpile-ups.

Open windows explorer and navigate to your profile folder.
If you have user profiles enabled, you will find a foobar2000 folder in %appdata%.

If you don't, your profile is in:
C:\Program Files\foobar2000\Playlists whatever your install path is.

in your profile go to the playlists folder.
There you will see a bunch of numbered playlist files.

If you see more playlists than you have tabs, you can open each playlist.

If you only have a couple ("one row" worth) of playlists then you didn't allow foobar2000 to close properly, and you may not have closed it since you created those playlists.
