No, changing the name back to Scrolling NOW PLAYING makes the EL Playlist work again, but the scrolling text doesn't work and whatever I try I can't fix it. Br3tt, any idea? And please don't say reload the .fcl as I loose all my customisation and I then loose another hour of my life re-doing them all

i've experiment that yesterday with the pb of Andu, position of the Scrolling NOW PLAYING panel reset to 0, have to be set to see it again, check values below :

Ticking/unticking the FORCED LAYOUT box of the Scrolling NOW PLAYING page switches between either the scroll text showing or the EL Playlist. I can't get both to display...

Br3tt, Have you looked at this? I am using it and it's great and it's being developed regularly. I think some more integration into Ibiza would make it a wonderful feature, mainly displaying the album art and more info properly which looks like it would be easy to do...

It really would be a great addition to IBIZA and maybe KUNG FU too, I use it all the time. Install it and play with it, the more you use it the more you realise just how good it is. Plus you can use the Audioscrobbler too to refine your playlists, it all works very well

If you wanted to be REALLY clever you could source the artist pics too either from the stream info or somewhere like discogs.com

And while I'm on the subject, you know the new integrated pop-up fucntion in EL Playlist that you are not using yet? How about making it display a web page for either the artist or album info when you point the mouse at the track playing? Again you could use a discogs page, a LastFM artist page or even a Wikipedia page. Infact you could use a different page when you point at the Artist and the Album. Know what I mean?

That is going to be amazing, but you do realise that there is an Album pic in the info feed already? Nausea has got it displaying in the FB default Album Art panel so you can get it to display in EL Playlist as well as the first Album Art panel and Album/Artist pic panel too, you could use the LastFM logo for the Artist pic if you couldn't source a feed easily

Some people were asking for embedded art to be displayed when you first did IBIZA, I think that the way Nausea now has it working, if IBIZA could display embeded Album art then it would display the LastFM album art too

no cheat, it automatically display the photo of the artist which is playing, but photo is stored in my collection of artist photo Z:\_artists\%artist%.jpg

because in some folder i have cover.jpg and other folders folder.jpg

you should fix that a day no ? there is tools to rename files (i.e cover.jpg --> folder.jpg) with batch processing (Flash Renamer for example)

btw it is possible in ELPlaylist, there are 2 or 3 lines to code to add an alternative filename to the default.

Hey, Br3tt is there any chance you would consider trying to make something like this, show a little banner, or whatever you design, to be placed on the cover of the currently playing track if it's labeled (favorite), or (love)etc.., and that goes for favorite album too, so that a banner of some sort will either say favorite track, or favorite album? and if not present if will just show the album art as normal. For this config and your kung-foo?

could be great to rate album, but there is no 'clean' way to do that. TAGs are supported by files, not by folder (album container), so tagging an album with a specific TAG have to be done on each track of the album and can't be done with a single button.

this step is essential before adding a such banner or star on the cover album.

I don't really think a button is needed, "would be nice" well if we can't make a new field called Favorite, and then put, track, or album in there, i really don't see the problem other then people having lots of songs, and i am one of them. But you don't have to tag them in 1 day.
Well, i really would like this to be the way to go. I have thought about why not use, "playcount" again?, and set that at 30, or what ever the value to be the favorite track part, since if you listen to a song that many times there is a good chance you like that track?, Maybe someone or yourself could help come up with an idea. i already have the algorythm, what i purpose is to display an auto-rating for each track which do not have a rating TAG (done manually of course)

but that does not reply to your initial need which is to rate the album, and not the tracks in it.

Ok, this algorythm, should do just fine then, this whole displaying favorite tracks, and favorite albums is something that should work easily for everyone i think which would be cool. So if this is the option to take we can?, taggin favorite tracks, and favorite albums is no more needed then? I have never used the "iFoo config" but did the algorythm work?, could it work with the new foobar2000?

I'd LOVE a good auto-rating system, I've read all the threads and was just waiting for a reliable one

I've copied this part from 1.4 to have the reflections but now the png mask spoils artist pics with bright backrounds

1) learn about syntax or grab models of popup code from other configs could help you

2) you can't have transparency background + reflection, it is the reason i have disable it, make a choice dude

a solution that i don't like but which can please yourself is to increase the width of the vertical left gradient (black 0-0-0-255 (plain black) to 0-0-0-0 (transparent) coded in the PSS panel that contains the ELPlaylist panel and where is coded the background picture :



replace the 2 highlighted lines

Don't know if this question has been answered yet: Does IBIZA support MP3 with embedded covers and display them correctly? I like this skin very much, but a lot of my Mp3 files have embedded covers and I want to know if they will be displayed before going through the whole installation process

Nope, embedded covers are not displayed, you need to put the art files somewhere then point the paths at the files, Folder.jpg... Artist.jpg etc

Hmm guess I have to extract the embedded covers of my MP3 files and store them somehow. But the bad thing about this, is that I can't have individual covers for each of my mp3 file, can I? I.e.I have 10 mp3 files in one folder and each of them has a different cover art embedded. Now as I understand the thing with folder.jpg that means I can only have on picture for all 10 mp3 files, right? I only can use one picture (folder.jpg) for each folder that will be displayed

All I do is have a separate folder for each artist and in that folder I have a different folder for each album, I then put the Folder.jpg and Artist.jpg into that album folder and point IBIZA at it. It took me ages to re-arrange my whole collection but once it's done it's easy to enter new music into this framework

i added to this playst other 2 albums

when the songs i'm listeng stops ,foobar start to play the last songs of the second album i added

how can i force foobar to respect the playlist order?

but i'll answer you.

playback order by default is sequential using playlist sort order of caourse, so it should play the second track of 1st album and not what it has done, but why has it work like this (last track of second album just added) :

1) you playback order is not set to Default but to Shuffle Tracks ... you have to check what are this setting in your foobar !

or

2) when playing 1st track of 1st akbum, you have click on the last track of this 2nd album, so you have selected it, and if option 'PLAYBACK FOLLOW CURSOR' is active, next song to be played is the selected one !

if not one of these cases, i'd be very surprised, but i'm sure you're in cas 1 or 2.
