How can I remove the background image? I don't want the album art to be in the background at all... just plain black.

Right click on the Playlist/settings/untick 'Pseudo Transparent'

Been a long time since I bothered trying to modify/make pretty fb2k.

I downloaded ibiza & kung foo and did all the necessarys installing plugins/fonts, and they both work. However, the explorer tree is currently black font against black background. If I don't import the font settings when loading the FCL settings then it will be black/white, otherwise it looks like this:



I am aware of the Explorer Tree Panel but editing the 'colors (tree)' settings seems to have no impact at all.

Quick and simple, how do I go about editing this?

-colors and fonts
colors tab, and then select album list, from the element option, then choose the mode under that to the one you like. try that

The best config I've ever seen, thx a lot. Facing some troubles, shall write them all soon, but nevertheless very convenient stuff! Go on upgrading it!

Falstaff do you know why rating individual songs with IBIZA v1.6b kills my ID3v2 tags?

It does not touch my ID3v1 tags. When I put my ID3v2 tags back there is no problem anymore. What could this be?

Found a solution. I had to enable 'ID3v2 writer compatibility mode' in the Preferences|Advanced|Tagging|MP3 options.
Now the tags do not disappear when I rate my tracks.

Is it possible to add the link on the album art, so that when you click twice very fast the artwork is opened in an external window?

I've never seen a config where the whole booklet would be able to look through. It is high time to correct it, isn't it?

I believe its for you to rate your favorite tracks. I don't think it will work with last.fm right now

Well, that's the purpose of ratings. Will see

- stars = rating (0-5)
- heart is to flag favorites track of the moment. it sets a TAG %mood% to 1 (or reset it to 0) and allow me to get all my favorites tracks in a playlist with an auto-playlist filter query : %mood% EQUAL 1

Oh, i have to say that I'm using Ibiza 1.3c. and text is from the Popup(track) tab of EL Playlist settings.

You also need the definition of the Popup(background) and enabling mouse hover action.



I don't know if this works in 1.6b but I hope so and I#m sorry if I'm talking trash.

A couple of questions.

1. My scroll bar comes up as the normal FB2k scroll bar, grey, default and boring. How can I fix this?

2. When I close FB a dialogue comes up saying "updating files". Which component is responsible for this and how can I turn it off?

Lyric Show panels , Preferences, and for this component settings, go to last TAB (Internet) and select 'Don't Save' in the combobox 'Save Scheme'

Can you shed any more light on the scroll bar thing? Do I have to change my windows theme to get it to change? Or is that something that might be changed in the 2.0 FCL like in the screenshot above (that looks awesome BTW).

Note that tou have to path some .dll to allow windows XP or Vista to apply new Visual Style, Google to find more information about that if you don't know how to do !

how can i save the replay mode?
I change it everytime from random (or shuffle) to normal, ( both arrows are right headed).
But after restarting foobar, the replaymode change back to random/shuffle.
how can i save the mode?

Right click at the top of the left panel and choose Splitter Settings

Set 'hide/unhide panel on startup' for each one depending on how you want IBIZA to look when you start. But don't hide the Start Panel or it can cause strange problems

go to the settings of the PSS that contains the ELPLaylist panel (use ColumnsUI layout Editor to find it like discribe below), then change the R-G-B values of the overlay (it was 010-010-010 in previous versions) :

Ups. Sorry I thought I remembered all the steps. I obviously didn't remember that one. Anyway I did as said and now I have 'PSS ELPlaylist' twice in the Splitter Settings and 'Scrolling NOW PLAYING' once. Last time I think that I just had 'ELPlaylist' twice and had to rename one of them. What is the procedure this time?

it is random panels renaming ... due to bug in PSS, install .fcl file again and retry until there is ni bug

EDIT: another way to go into the setting of the PSS that contains the ELPLaylist panel it to use the layout editor (tree) in the ColumnsUI settings, just fing the good PSS panel (just aboce the ELplaylist) ... select it and clicj the Configure button to enter the settings and modify the paths ...

Found a slightly easier solution. Just rename the first PSS ELPlaylist back to ABC and it works.

I understand the majority of the code but I don't seem to be able to find out where the background colour comes from.

Is it contained within the code or is it a foobar config?

I'm wanting to make the background white instead of the grey colour it is in the picture.

I just noticed something else when you skip a song, forward or backward the Button to hide or show the scroll bar Flickers?, i dont know if it always did this or not. And when no song is playing/stopped the scrolling text is ?>?
EDIT: That last.fm button when the player is stopped, and activate the last.fm button it appears to still be down after you click cancel, ok, or exit. Could be a problem with a component rather then your code.

Same here, looks like the whole panel is being refreshed. Don't understand what you mean about the scrolling text, when I pause a song the text just sits there frozen until I start the song again, but I've just noticed that if the title is too long it doesn't auto-scroll anymore and I can't find the setting for it now

I'm using it with a clean, portable version of foobar .
At first i was a bit freaked because the Playback stats dont show up.
I thought i just need the files form your first post to have the "full version".
But after adding foo_playcount it works

Thanks for the update, Falstaff. I have a question: i've never been a big fan of the channel spectrum bars in the middle, so I remove them from the layout, but now there is a small space between the left edge of the window and the playlist (please see the screenshot below)



How would I go about removing this small space? Thanks.

I think I should also mention the main window title format is marked as a comment. A tiny bug to be corrected I suppose

playback stats are optionnal, so i don't indicate wich plugin to be use... they are many components to do that (foo_custom_playback, foo_playcount, foo_play_count_mod ...).
