in header expanded, i use the function $drawstring(...) (blue glow), it seems that $drawstring() do not work very well for the case you are showing to us

in header collapsed i use a different function to disploay text : $draxtextex(...)

So ==> report this bug in the ELPlaylist Thread, the developper check it, so, i'm sure he will fix it in a next release of ELPlaylist...

btw are you sure there is no blank or special characters in the TAG %album% of your files because i have albums with japaneses charset too and they are displayed fine in both cases (expanded or collapsed header)

Really great skinm thanks so much Brett. I'm quite new at this, but after fiddling around for a while have managed to get it all working really well.

Only one thing that I can't seem to fix (and seems to also be an issue noted above) and no matter where I look I can't find the answer. At the moment my main title bar is horrible windows blue. I really want it to be the nice clean black that yours all seem to be. I presume you just put the script into the 'Main window title format script' box under the Colums UI setting. If so, would someone be kind enough to provide me with it, as doing it myself is beyond my skills sad.gif

Really appreciated.

The title bar being black on Br3tt's ibiza config is because he uses a Visual Style Theme, Windows Blinds, Windows Theme, etc.. This is the only way to get it to look different. Is your files tagged with %rating% with the official play_count?, or play_count_mod?

fonts arenot coming with the archive file, you have to get them with the link i have given and install fonts in c:/windows/fonts/ before using ibiza

Hey Br3tt, really like the config. But, I'm having a problem with the album art.

What I'm trying to say is can I edit the settings so that foobar can recognize cover.jpg and folder.jpg as album art? If so, how?

I like this a lot - it actually works on my PC without crashing unlike the earlier versions XD

Couple of questions tho:

Technical:

My foobar playlist glows every album entry blue instead of just the selected one and the icon before every album title is the folder icon not the song count - any ideas why?

Cosmetic:

How do I get a black background like Viggen (Maroon coloured background - what were u thinking man?) and is it still possible to "switch off" the windows bar/box round the player?

Any help appreciated :]

For blank window title:
Go to Preferences>Display>Columns UI
In Main tab you will see something like 'Main window title format script'. Remove '//' from the second line.

For ratings, copying Images folder of Ibiza config into main directory of foobar helped.

Skellington: try the same. Copy Images into foobar directory.

Yeah did that (copied ibiza folder to foobar dir.) but it didn't make any difference.

Actually - somewhere along the lines it's also lost the LastFM icon too rofl.

Have you copied IBIZA folder into FOOBAR or just IMAGES into FOOBAR? Also try upgrading every single plugin from the list manually.
I had the same problem that you have, and upgrading plugins AND copying this darn folder into foobar helped instantly.

Aww man - this is going too well - sorted that now.

Last thing is getting rid of the windows box but I'm happy enough now I'll live with it - don't wanna jinx the rest.

Skelington, about the windows box, that will have to show. However if you use a nice theme, Windows Blinds, or Windows Theme, you could change the way it looks, other then that we have to it.

Ah okay.

There was a way to do it in older Foobar versions though right? Or did I make that up?

BTW whilst fiddling with code I found a line that mentioned "artist picture lookup" or similar - is there a button somewhere in the cfg that allows artist picture search?

Oh, i found that part of the code as well, about the artist picture look up. I think this may be Br3tt's own personal feature, however you are probably going to need (foo_run), which is a great plugin that you can do this type of feature with a right click of a mouse and select it. Of course you would have to check that plugin out, and read about it.
Edit: You made need to make a new run services called " discogs artist" in the label section,but then you'll still need to make the path section point to the website, and all that for it to be correct.

Yeah, I have foo_run but it won't do nothing with this function. Seems like stub for future improvements.

columns ui
-colors and fonts
colors tab, and then select album list, from the element option, then choose the mode under that to the one you like. try that

Thank you very much, but now i have the very same question Vintage has - can i write another name *.jpg (say, front.jpg to existing folder.jpg) to be also shown as album art?..

edit: forgot to ask another question

I have a lot of music files stored as @.iso.wv (.wv file inside .iso image) - is there any way i can make the artwork (actually the pic is not embedded in .wv but in .iso next to .wv file) be shown in foobar?..

thanks for the first tip, it worked. Copying images won't help cause they work technically, but it displays stars only for files with RATING in the tags, which is no good for me cause I use foo_custominfo to store this information. Old versions worked fine with it, but not 2.0 sadly sad.gif

i don't understand, when i installed your 2.0b version yhe lyrics font are awful... with no antialiasing, no cleartype !

before, everything was ok, and when i got back with the 1.6 version, the problem is the same !!!???

No, that's not right. This doesn't make the font antialiased nor it makes it Clear Type smoothed.
