Not sure if this is the right place to record a personal and public note of thanks to John Lockwood for his help in getting my iTunes/WMP11 on Vista Ultimate working but what the heck

Thanks for your perseverence in sorting the solution and patient support to my newbie questions- it all hangs together now and I am about to rerip my CD collection again into ALAC.

please add my thanks to John Lockwood also. I have been all over the web the last three days and I see his posts on many forums. He writes precisely in a way people can understand. Obviously, he is also well versed on those matters that he converses on. A very real asset for those of use you want learn and grow.
