As the description says ... the 'media' keys on my Logitech G11 keyboard, specifically those used for volume control and next/previous and the like only work when Foobar is in the foreground (that is, when it's the application that has the main focus in Windows XP).

If music/a playlist is playing in the background as I, say, compose an email in Outlook or browse the web or something ... then the media keys for volume/next/previous/etc. no longer function on the keyboard.

I have to bring Foobar to the foreground in order to make the keys function again.

Is there a workaround for this?

I like Foobar/Secret Rabbit better for my main listening but I've been using Jriver Media Jukebox of late because the media keys work even when it's reduced to an icon or otherwise operating/playing as a background application.

Any comments?

Hello, i think you have to check your keyboard shortcuts in foobar2000's preferences and make sure they keys you would like are set to global and then your keys will/should work.
