hello.

i have two questions:
is this possible to open media library search from context menu with artist/album/title etc. query from selected track?

and 2nd about autoplaylist:
its nice to see how foobar grow up smile.gif i like very much new features (new title formatting functions, great components for default ui...). now i make simple history autoplaylist with query:
%last_played% DURING LAST 24 HOURS SORT DESCENDING BY %last_played%

it work nice! always is update but when i listen the same song twice, this song is not duplicate (sorry for my english). its logical of course but maybe is there component or something for remember all information about playing history...
and queue - i cant make autoplaylist for queue tracks - %queue_index% doesn't work :/ is it possible to make autoplaylist for this purpose?
and last one about ipod autoplaylist - i try make autoplaylist for ipod (with directory watcher plugin) - without success wink.gif is this possible for this moment?

thanks
kanak

If you get foo_dbsearch (foosion's page) you can get context menu.

The reason for this behavior is that last_played tag is updated when you play the song again, so foobar has no way of knowing that you played the song earlier. There are two possible ways out of this: foo_navigator (which displays the playback history, but is for CUI only), or you could use playback_statistics custom which stores play_stamp info as well (i.e. it keeps track of ALL the times you played the song).

Get foo_pqview (foosion's page). it lets you designate one of your playlists as a "queue viewer playlist".

What directory watcher plugin? What did you try, and what are you attempting?

The Quicksearch toolbar component also gives you context menu options for searching for the same artist, title, album or whatever. (I actually have some of these commands mapped to buttons in my current configuration, and it works very nicely.)

As mentioned, there's foo_navigator, a component for Columns UI. However, it does have the option to populate a playlist with your playback history, and there's no reason I can see (though I've not tested it) that this feature, at least, wouldn't work in Default.

I use foo_navigator with the DefaultUI.

I didn't even know it provided a Columns UI panel. smile.gif
