Full Version: Sound card with balanced audio output - recommendation?

I'm looking at building a car PC to replace the stereo. As I'm planning on putting some hypex amps, I'd like to take advantage of their balanced audio inputs, especially as it would help in the electrically noisy environment of a car.

Anyone know of a good quality sound card with balanced audio outputs that doesn't cost a fortune? I only need it to have good Windows driver support. Don't need a MIDI interface or anything like that of course, just decent quality balanced outputs.

Suggestions?

Thanks in advance smile.gif

E-MU 0404 does not have balanced I/O.

uhm, what does "balanced output" mean?

My bad. The 0404 doesn't have it. But the 0404 USB has it.
