I have tried dragging audio links from my browser to both the playlist window and the transport, and none seem to work. My hope is that it can play the audio without downloading a physical copy to the hard disk.
Using Foobar 0.9.3 and Firefox 3.0 on windows XP SP3
Is this possible?

Oops, I somehow missed that. It works here with Firefox 3 and foobar2000 0.9.5.4 (Default User Interface).
Which user interface do you use? Does it work if you use the "Add Location" command from the File menu?
