I updated my fb2k on my notebook which is working in a fullscreen mode and displayed useful information. I know some would get lost. Do you know if there are alternatives already? For the %cwb_

- System Date/Time functions?
- Next track functions?
- Playlist name functions?

foo_cwb_hooks was incredible.. i dont think i'll find anything that will replicate:

A part of the functions/fields are not necessary anymore. IF you use 0.9.5.3 or higher!

Would you mind to explain what new functions/title formatting to use to replace cwb_hooks?
I'm with Squeller on this... I have a LOT of functions made with cwb and don't necessarily want/have the time to go through all the learning curve again to replace it.
On the other hand I could stay with foobar 9.5.2 forever but don't want to be left without updates/new functions.
So if it's so easy... please would someone enlighten us?

Not what I was talking about. What I see is only the new date/time formatting functions, but not one which retrieves date/time. I reckon Peter won't add a system date retrieval thing because, there was the concept "no data from outside". Not sure though.
About the playlist info, I only see listindex and listcount and playback state functions - nothing about the playlists name.

The changelog for 0.9.5.3 informs you about the introduction of special functions and the addition of new keywords in the search syntax. Please take a look inside the two html-help files wich come with the new foobar versions.

If you would detail the use cases where these functions are needed, Peter might be more amenable to implementing something like them.

I give you no guarantees, but if the use case is sufficiently interesting, who knows?

Stuff like this is all interesting for htpc full display solutions as I use it, simply as a welcome information for anybody who looks on the screen. I displayed all stuff in track display panel, now in trackinfo_mod, because it needs to be visible in some meters distance. I can control fb2k with a remote control.

- Current playlist name needed cause I browse through them, need to know where I currently am.
- System Date/Time (I displayed it in the top right)
- Next track: I displayed it 10 seconds before the end of the current track.
