Morning all,
I tried searching, but could not find anything on this...
I was just wondering if foobar could support different user's, but without having to log on as another user in Windows.
Under the 'General' tab in foobar's preferences I see you can open the user profiles directory. Is there any way of changing where this directory lies? Maybe having multiple of these directories with a 'user switcher' built into foobar? Or a component?
This could also be useful for testing out new setups, without messing up your actual user profile you are currently happy with.
Anyone agree?
Cheers in advance.

How would you expect foobar to know which user is at the console? There is no existing component to tell foobar manually.
As a workaround you could change the location of the configuration files under
File> Preferences> General> "Location of configuration files" section
to the Application install folder and then make a separate installation of foobar for each person using the computer and each copy should maintain its own configuration.
Alternatively you could devise some fancy scripting to swap out the foobar Application Data directory for your user profile. This would mean you'd only need one copy of foobar installed but it's up to you to maintain the different subprofiles.

This helps a lot! Thanks for that.
I went for the option in bold... works a charm. I only wanted two different setups and this is sweet.
Thanks again for your help Yotsuya
