Hi guys, I've just upgraded to 0.9.5.4 and I can no longer use converter to create single wav+cue arrangement.

Convert to, gives single wav per song (as it should)
Convert to Single File, gives wav, with not cue (as it should)
Convert to Album Images with cue sheets, does same as the first (one wav per song, no cue)

Is this a bug or do I have to do something else now to get 1 wav + 1 cue arrangement?

Tested using MP3 track files: works fine for me.

I was going to suggest an incorrect Converter string, but if your "single file" convert worked fine then...

Conver to WAV has no settings in fb2k. Just to be sure, how did you produce 1wav+1cue?

Oh, and where can I find older versions? Googling for them just links to fb2k site and that only has the latest (far as I can see).

I was talking about the "Album Images" "Output File Names" string on the Converter preferences page. I wondered whether you had track-level tags in there or something...

I highlighted a few MP3 files and then selected "Convert" > "Convert to Album Images with Cuesheets or Chapters" from the context menu.

OT, but there are some older versions of foobar at OldVersion.com. Edit: I tend to hoard files so I may have a version that is not listed there.

I see what you mean now, and I think this is possibly the reason:

Album images: [%album artist% - ]%album%

The first thing is the artist, but artists are all different for each track on this album, could this be causing it to split the image into multiple wavs? If so, it's odd that it doesn't also create a cue for each wav.

/EDIT: the evidence is mounting, I tried on a single artist album, and it created the image fine. Also the save as dialog was different. On multi-artist album I was getting Convert To... save dialog instead of Convert to Album Images save file dialog.

/EDIT2: Removing [%album artist% - ], solved the problem smile.gif all is well (except that site you linked is down, but now I don't need it)

If those tracks all have different artists (a VA/Various Artists disc) the norm would be to set %artist% to the track artist and %album artist% to "Various Artists"; your Converter string would then work as expected.

As it is I suspect that you have %artist% set, but not %album artist%; foobar is therefore mapping %album artist% to %artist%.

I suspect foobar is being clever and not bothering to create a cuesheet for a "one track album".
