Hi guys,
My problem is:
I use NG Playlist and the Playlist (named Library Viewer Selection in the picture) doesn't update itself after pressing "Rescan Media Library". But the Album List does. I'm using a workaround with foo_playlist_bind to bind my music folder with the Library Viewer Selection Playlist. But it's uncomfortable to always klick "Rescan.." and "Bind|Update.." Can i have the Playlists or one single Playlist which works as Media Library updated everytime i press "rescan media Library"? Or just a button next to the searchbar which combines Bind->Update and Rescan..?

sorry for my english guys.

EDIT: please move to General(fb2k)

The Album List updates because it's a browser for the media library. A playlist is a list of tracks, so why would it update when changes are made to items that aren't in the playlist? What you want is an autoplaylist, which does update based on changes in the media library. If you want a playlist that always displays everything in the media library, right-click the "All music" node in Album List and select 'create autoplaylist.'

What version of foobar are you using?

The album list panel of ColumnsUI is different from the windowed album list component -- the Columns version lacks the autoplaylist feature. You can still create an autoplaylist by going to Library > Album List and right-clicking the All node there.

Alternately, if you go to Library > Search and type in ALL (in all caps), it'll display all the tracks in the media library. Then select '...' and create an autoplaylist there.

(Both features are in the newer versions of foobar, around 0.9.5 onwards)
