Hi everyone!

This is my first post here but I am hoping that someone can help me.

I have a large soundtrack collection of music from video games. Often times these are obscure albums and no album art exists for them (the image files in the album directory that give me a nice visual of the album in question)

I notice that the files for albums that do contain art seem to have some kind of unique identifier in the file name (for instance, AlbumArt_{B5BCEBEB-2762-4140-BB3F-9AB724778451}_Large.jpg).

What I want to do is basically scan the covers of my CDs without art and add them to the album directory, but this unique identifier seems mandatory for the artwork to be recognized correctly. I'm not sure how to go about adding the artwork to these albums!

Hopefully someone here can help me out, I have a few dozen albums I'd be willing to scan artwork for if I could get it to show up properly (I'm currently using Windows Media Player / Windows Media Center for playback)

Any help? Thanks in advance!
kanak
You seem to be using Windows Media Player. You can just use folder.jpg to get the artwork to show up.

As kanak said, naming your album cover 'folder.jpg' and placing it in the folder where the files for the soundtrack are located will work. Might be a bit time consuming, but at least you'll know which cover is to which album instead of having to memorize a jumble of numbers like that.
