Hi,
I am trying to encode some wavs to Aac with Ivan&Menno. I have tried Faacenc, and a few other AAC encoders, and I have tried every encoder setting. If I click on help I get a help screen but if I click on go, nothing happens!
I'm using version 2.02 of Ivan&Menno. I'm 99.9% sure I've got the commandlines right. And I have used similar frontends such as Oggifier, without any problems.
I have not tested decoding yet.
Any thoughts?
This frontend is ancient and tied to specific, old versions of Psytel AAC and FAAD. Why are you using it at all?

Like Garf said, that frontend is pretty obsolete (and so is the encoder). Try the Nero AAC encoder with Foobar2000 or this little nifty frontend, which I like very much:

Hi,
I have used Nero AAC and I know now it is the best freely available AAC encoder out there. but before I had it, I thought something like Psytel AAC would work. I ran Faac as a test and it didn't work so I knew Psytel AAC wouldn't. Psytel AAC is pretty ancient too. still I asked because I was curious why this particular frontend had these problems while other very similar frontends didn't.
Now I know why...
