Hi,

I have a number of audiobooks on cassette that I wish to digitise and transfer to CD. I can record them easily enough using the line in on my Audigy 2 ZS but I was wondering if anyone knew of any software that could automatically split them into tracks, preferably by detection of periods of "silence" that are already present in the original recordings, or at the very least every defined number of minutes. I'm running Windows XP so I'm afraid mac and linux are out and of course free would be preferred to commercial but any suggestions are more than welcome!
