I have this problem with EAC lately.
I choose the test & copy option in the secure mode, and I get some error.
But then I just redo that again and there are no problem at all. I don't try to clean the CD.
I have 2 cd drive and both have the same problem!

And one more thing, is EAC is the most secure way to rip your CD?

Are you allowing the disc to spin up before you start ripping?

AccurateRip is more secure.

What error message are you getting?

Most of my CDs are not presented in the AcurrateRip Database so I cannot use that.
When I try to rip my CD, I often get Sync Error, Read Error. After the correction, the report says that the are suspicious .... I try to listen to the song again at that particular time but find nothing
And then I leave that for 5 min and then do that again and nothing happens!!

Should the CRC number of a song read by different driver be the same?

Now, I even get different result for each of my driver. For example, a song which read by one of my cd driver seems to have no problem at all, while when it read on different driver, it shows sync and read error.
All of my drivers are at the same mode and config
