Just wondering if there is a way to broadcast music from Winamp into a Ventrilo server channel?
I help admin a server and have had requests to do this yet no one knows how. Someone said a bot but I don't have any idea on where to begin.

Thanks for any help u can pass my way.....

You can select "Stereo Mix" instead of microphone in the options.

what if you have integrated Realtek audio instead of a soundcard with Stereo Mix support?

My Realtek HD Audio 833 (Asus P5K) has Stereo Mixer as input option.

You don't need to set anything in Ventrilo. When Stereo Mix is selected in Volume Control, when you hit your push-2-talk button in Ventrilo, Ventrilo will submit Winamp sounds (and everything else YOU hear) instead of mic sounds.

Realtek mixes everything and you actually choose what to exclude from the mix (as opposed to single source recording on other cards) - at least mine does under XP. Stereo mix is muted by default.
So you may actually record both the winamp music and the microphone (provided the Ventrilo itself doesn't have audio feedback, this could totally wreck the sound due to positive feedback loop).
If I had the English windows, I would post a screenshot of the mixer.

There could be an option in Ventrillo to turn the feedback off, have you looked? On teamspeak, for example, you don't hear what you're talking so the described process works.
You must also have the microphone muted in the playback (output) mixer!
