Full Version: i -want- to permanently alter files

the problem is one that i guess many have: my portable audioplayer (cowon iaudio7) does not understand replaygain. there is a rockbox in slow progress but i dont expect it until next year or so.

so my problem is as explained: id be glad for help with permanently altering audio files (dont worry audiophiles, these are flac-copies im talking about, not my collection lol) to then be played at the same level on the player.

what i was hoping for is that there is a way through any add-on or software that can read replay-gain values and permanently alter the volume this way. or any way around it.

please dont tell me to do it manually track by track in audacity! :/

thank you
Jan S.
foobar2000 --> right click replaygained files (or replaygain first) --> convert --> choose what you want --> tick replaygain --> flac --> done.
