Can anyone comment on how well the Netgear EVA8000 Digital Media Player streams FLAC audio?

The box seems a very comprehensive package. I have an DAC that will accept an optical input, so if the EVA8000 can stream the FLAC bit perfect (or nearly so) it might be a good buy for the other functions

I could not find out if it's bit perfect, but one would assume so?
