Ivan, our devs are too lazy to read the complete specs up right now, would the API allow direct burning of mode2 form 2 CDs ?

That way we could convert our mode2 form2 burning tools for matroska into a nero plugin ...

Just think.... xcd burning. Perhaps even xvid and vorbis plugins. DivX and aac and ac3. Oh the things that could be done.

Why is this announcement here? Is there something new? The Nero SDK has been available for some time.

yup...


the SDK.. have been released before...
but it seems like it was withdrawn.. maybe faulty libs??

besides: i think the audio plugin source.. is added...
(not shure.. must check that out..)

By the way, is the multi-channel bug in the plugin manager fixed in this SDK? Can you give a rough time line when the new Nero Burning ROM with the other important bug fix (VBR bitrates in Nero AAC are influenced by the CBR setting) will be released?

I think the new version has already been send to the installer department. So you expect it to be available soon.
