This contains the following changes since 1.7:
- faad2 scale factor errors that prevented some valid .m4a/.mp4 files from being analyzed are now ignored.
- the build instructions have been updated to specify the use of the latest versions of mpeg4ip/mp4v2 and mp3gain.
Use of the latest mp4v2 version 1.6.1 corrects file corruption that occurred with video files containing Quicktime chapter markers.
Use of the latest mp3gain code version 1.4.7 provides support for bit rates up to 96000. Thanks to Ben Allison for this code. Previous releases only supported up to 48000.
I will provide pre-built Windows binaries of aacgain 1.8 to rarewares.
Have fun!
Dave
