hi, id like to use OggEncGT3b1 with CDex, but I dont know how to set it up, for now, i use quality 6 with 1.0 ogg. encoder.

can I get some help with the setup please?
krmathis
Edited:
I found out that CDex uses *.dll in stead of *.exe files for external encoders.

But I guess this works instead:
1. Open CDex settings.
2. Go to "Encoder".
3. Encoder = External Encoder.
4. Browse your oggencgt3b1.exe file.
5. Set parameter strings.
6. File extension = ogg

Lykke til! biggrin.gif

can U utdype parameter strings?
krmathis
To encode with quality 6, use this parameter string:
CODE
-q6

This parameter works on commandline, but I don`t know for sure about CDex..
tigre
-q5 %1 %2
-q6 %1 %2
... and so on

I haven't figured it out yet, can someone please help me setting it up?

1. Download Vorbis GT3 Encoder and extract the .exe (e.g. GT3b1.exe) to DRIVE:\PATHWHEREITISINSTALLED\
2. Start CDex and go to
Options -> Settings -> Encoder and set
-> Encoder: "External Encoder"
-> Encoder Options -> Encoder path "DRIVE:\PATHWHEREITISINSTALLED\GT3b1.exe"
-> Encoder Options -> Parameter string "-q6 %1 %2"
-> Encoder Options -> File Extension "ogg"

Do you need something else?

This parameter string will fill out the artist/title/album tags as well:

-q 6 -o "%2" -a "%a" -t "%t" -l "%b" "%1"
