Hi there,

I'm new to this player and am wondering if anyone can help me with a setting in Foobar2000 0.5

When I'm listening to music in the background while doing work I like to have all four of my speakers going at once. I have a Soundblaster Live! 5.1 card and am wondering if I should enable Hardware Mixing or just use the 4 speaker DSP.... or both?

Thanks for any info

You can use only 4 speaker DSP.
Enable HW mixing only if it causes no problems.

I've had hardware mixing on for 2 days now (without the 4 speaker DSP) and have had no problems. Would hardware mixing be better than software?

Keep it on if it causes no problems.

Hardware mixing is on SBLive5.1 just fine, keep it enabled! Audigy1&2 Hw mixing sucks (I have both cards)
