Should I dither when using fb2k with KS output in 32bit mode? I'm using the M-Audio Delta Dio 2496 which supports up to 24bit & 32bit padded. As such, if i don't dither, does that mean that valid bits of the datasteam will be truncate at the driver level or will simply only the padded bits be truncated?

Dithering is always better than truncating rite?

AFAIK, foobar's 32 bit output is NOT padded.

So you should use 24 bits with dithering.
