I made some playlists saved as m3u and Foobar is the only application that can play the mp3 from the saved list. I tried Coolplayer, Winamp and even MP3Gain ..with no success..Maybe i missed something?

I use various applications before burning them and some uses playlist ( m3u ) including Nero.
I also use Abyss Audio as organizer and works great with Foobar as default player and select individual mp3's to make customed playlist to eventually make music Cd's and Foobar does a great job ..but the only problem is the saved list wich none others can't recongnized or play the listed songs!

Any can help?

Thank you!
Melomane
you have not missed anything, it is a small bug

the playling lists .m3u or .pls made by foobar do not work with winamp or coolplayer

while waiting remove "file://" from playlist texte:
exemple
#subsong 0
file://D:\Mp3\Bjork\Homogenic\(07) - Immature - Bjork.mpc
#subsong 0
file://D:\Mp3\Bjork\Homogenic\(08) - Alarm Call - Bjork.mpc

new text:
#subsong 0
D:\Mp3\Bjork\Homogenic\(07) - Immature - Bjork.mpc
#subsong 0
D:\Mp3\Bjork\Homogenic\(08) - Alarm Call - Bjork.mpc

You know, foobar is also a great audio player. Quit using winamp and coolplayer!

Dont be so naive. Some of use use .m3u for burining etc - this is something i noticed, but it isn't exactly hard to workaround (find + replace).

Thanks Melomane..it worked.. smile.gif

My playlist are very important for making my music Cds, now i can use MP3Gain, Nero etc for batch processing.

Btw i 've used Foobar since it was available and always supported it.
Was using CP before ..and used Winamp as a standard reference to compare CP and Foo.

No need to remind me..Foo will be the best at this pace ...still need some touchups like this playlist bug!

Keep up the good work!
